2023 Twilight Tour - West

This year we were happy to be back at Hofstra University and tour the beautiful grounds with the new Director of Grounds and Landscapes, Michael Runkel. He explained the facilities new projects, initiatives and policies as they transition to a more sustainable campus. He discussed the challenges of managing one of the top Campus Arboretums while also managing pests and the expectations of administrators, visitors and students.

The sold out crowd got first look at new gardens, the first phases of the pollinator pathway, and the work they do to keep the existing plantings and magnificent trees healthy.
